Imagine a world where women are safe, valued and truly equal.

Now imagine being told it will take 131 more years to get there.

That’s the grim reality, according to the World Economic Forum’s 2024 Global Gender Gap Report.
And the UN confirms: no country is on track to meet the promise of gender equality by 2030, the target year for the Sustainable Development Goals.

Not a single country is close to achieving gender equality by 2030.

Why? Because around the world:

  • Over 100 countries still uphold unequal laws and policies
  • 1 in 3 women will face violence in her lifetime – often in her own home
  • Women remain excluded from political leadership and decision-making
  • Women are paid less, hired less, and promoted less
  • And their unpaid care work continues to go unseen, unrewarded and undervalued

We refuse to wait this long!

Feminist Alliance for Rights (FAR) is forging a path that is bold, collective, and sustainable. We are building bridges across Safety, Labour, and Human Rights – in countries, across regions and globally to end violence, shift power and transform governance.

Here’s how we’re making it happen:

  • Securing safety for women at home and in the world of work
  • Uniting feminist and labor movements to recognize unpaid and elevate informal labor, especially among migrant domestic workers
  • Empowering women to lead, influence and claim collective power
  • Working across borders to reshape law and policy

Equality isn’t a dream – it’s a demand! And we’re not waiting another century.
